Welcome to the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust
Launched in 2010, the ambition of the Rowan Boland Memorial Trust is to support aspiring young sportspeople from across the Scottish Borders as they progress from being enthusiastic participants of their preferred sport at grassroots level, developing to reach the aspiration of many an athlete by performing at a professional level.
Recognising the role they play in developing youth sport, we also support sports clubs in the TD1 postal district. Sports clubs not only develop the specific skills and techniques for each sport but they play a vital role in helping young people develop a variety of life skills too, from leadership, teamwork and problem-solving to responsibility, self-discipline to relationship building.
